FINDING CORSO COMO

After hearing some amazing things about Corso Como, it became one of my top priorities to visit the famous shopping district. Unfortunately unable to read the tube maps properly - myself and Alannah are constantly getting lost at the moment and without the Milano travel cards, every trip is becoming quite costly - we hopped on the wrong train and after about half an hour we realised something wasn’t right (Google Maps declared it to be about a 15 minute train ride away from our apartment). However not knowing whether to stay on or get off in the middle of nowhere, and without internet on our phones, we decided to carry on with our journey. Finally after an hour we thought it would be a good idea to get off at the next stop and so we ended up in a tiny village located close to the Alps. So after having a discussion with an Italian man who didn’t speak a word of English, we got on the next train home. Biggest let down ever.

Therefore some of the main priorities for the next week are to download CityMapper, learn how to use a map and get a travel card.
